Just In: Madison Keys clears the air on her pregnancy days after heartbreaking US Open exit

Madison Keys broke her silence on her pregnancy rumors days after her early exit at the 2026 US Open. Fans were concerned about Keys following her third-round exit, where she faced Qinwen Zheng.

In the press conference after the match, Keys said that a few changes are necessary. Some fans thought that Keys was talking about being pregnant. In one of the episodes of ‘The Player’s Box Podcast,’ co-hosted by Keys, Jessica Pegula, Jennifer Brady, and Desirae Krawczyk, the 2017 US Open finalist admitted to receiving messages about being pregnant.

She clarified the rumors, stating that she is not pregnant and asked people to stop assuming or asking about it. Keys further added that even if she were pregnant, it would have been her private matter.

“Just trying to figure out my life after that. I will say if people could stop assuming and/or asking me if I’m pregnant, that would be super fun. That’s like the number one comment I keep getting post-US Open. Actually, that’s a lie. I’ve had a lot of very supportive messages and people thinking about me, and thank you. But yeah, I’ve had a lot of questions…if I’m pregnant, and I’m not, first of all, and second of all, if I was, it was no one’s business. So, thanks so much.”

Madison Keys is married to Bjorn Fratangelo, a former professional tennis player. The couple met when they were training at a facility in Boca Raton, Florida. They started dating in 2017 and got married in November 2024 in South Carolina. After retiring from the sport in 2023, Fratangelo started coaching his wife.
