Novak Djokovic shared glimpses of the celebration of his upcoming documentary, ‘Wolf in Winter,’ alongside his family and friends. At 39, the Serbian tennis star is on a quest for a record-breaking 25th Grand Slam title.
He started playing tennis in 1991 at the age of four and entered the professional circuit in 2003, when he was only 15. The tennis great went on to clinch his first ATP title in 2006 and bagged his first Grand Slam title at the 2008 Australian Open. His achievements and historic feats have been portrayed in the documentary, which will be available on Amazon Prime from August 20, 2026.
Although his career looks illustrious and is unparalleled, it was never a smooth sail for the 24-time Grand Slam champion. His career faced constant setbacks from bouts of self-doubt, injuries, and high-profile controversies, which the documentary takes a closer look at. As the release date for the documentary is approaching, Djokovic was seen celebrating the show with his wife Jelena and parents Srdjan Djokovic and Dijana Djokovic.
He was seen wearing a grey suit, which he paired with a white shirt, while his wife opted for a flowy floral dress. He was also seen grooving to music with his family and friends. Sharing the glimpses on Instagram, Djokovic wrote:

The ‘Wolf in Winter’ documentary also features Novak Djokovic’s fiercest rival, Rafael Nadal, and former World No. 1 Andre Agassi.

In an interview with Deadline, Novak Djokovic made his feelings known about his upcoming documentary, stating that tennis has been a huge part of his life. He also faced major struggles throughout his career, including doubts, sacrifices, and personal challenges, which have been showcased to the fans in the documentary. He further took pride in having navigated the journey with his family and friends.
“Tennis has given me so much, but the greatest battles were never only on the court,” Djokovic said. “This documentary is about the moments people didn’t see—the doubts, the sacrifices, and the work of constantly evolving beyond the story so many think they know. I’m proud to share this side of my life with my family, my team, my friends, and the fans who have supported me throughout. Amazon and Jason understood that this was never only a story about tennis, but about the people, values, and moments behind it. The journey has been incredible—but the journey is far from over.”
The documentary is directed by Jason Hehir, who won an Emmy for the documentary series, ‘The Last Dance.’
