Just In: Sarah Ferguson ‘embarrassed loved ones’ and ‘relied on Beatrice’s credit card’

Sarah Ferguson reportedly left her loved ones feeling “embarrassed” as she is said to have relied on Princess Beatrice’s credit card for her lavish spending sprees. The 66-year-old, who has seen her reputation left in tatters this year over her connection to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has been described as “chaotic” by a former employee in royal author Andrew Lownie’s in updated version of Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York.

Sarah’s employees would even be asked to cover expenses due to delayed payments. One passage from the updated book read: “The assistant and other staff members had problems getting paid and often had to buy things using their own credit cards.

Sarah herself drew on Beatrice’s credit card constantly and paid one psychic in cigarettes.”

According to the updated version of Entitled, Beatrice and Eugenie were “embarrassed” by their mother’s antics.

A former royal aide told Mr Lownie that Beatrice, 37, and her younger sister Eugenie, 36, were “very much under the control of their mother but embarrassed by her behaviour”.

The book further alleges that Sarah, also known as Fergie, “rarely paid for anything” and instead relied on wealthy friends for hospitality and security arrangements.

Mr Lownie also recently spoke of the true state of Sarah’s relationship with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor following her own previous claim that they were the “happiest divorced couple.

Speaking to HELLO! recently, he said that Sarah’s bold claim was “always a bit of a myth”.

He also added that “although they did meet and speak on the phone, I don’t think there was much contact.”

The former couple previously married in 1986, before separating in 1996.
