Fans in Awe as Emma Raducanu Offers Rare Update on Her Life Away From Tennis as Brit Shares Italy Vacation Snaps

Emma Raducanu gave fans a glimpse of life off the court by sharing pictures from her Italian vacation.

Raducanu’s last appearance on the tennis court this season was at the Queen’s Club Championships, where she reached the final round before losing to Donna Vekić 0-6, 6-7 (6-8). Since then, the Brit has been out of the Tour with a stress fracture in her lower right leg, forcing her to withdraw from Wimbledon and the US Open.

Amid the recovery, Raducanu was seen embracing the break in Italy. She visited Faraglioni, one of Capri’s most iconic sights, with three huge natural rock formations rising from the Mediterranean Sea. Raducanu also shared glimpses of the delicious food she devoured, including seafood pasta. The 2021 US Open champion also shared a picture of fun games she played during her visit. Sharing the pictures, she wrote:

“F/W side quests di mare,” meaning “Fall/Winter side adventures by the sea.”

Emma Raducanu’s 2026 season was marred by multiple setbacks. She lost in the second round of the Australian Open. She then reached her first final since winning the 2021 US Open in Transylvania but lost to Sorana Cirstea. Following this, she contracted a viral illness and made early exits in the next three tournaments. Raducanu exited in the first round at the French Open before advancing to the final at the Queen’s Club Championships.

Former British No. 1 suggests Emma Raducanu should conclude her 2026 season early

Former British No. 1 Annabel Croft recently suggested that Emma Raducanu should conclude her 2026 season as the 23-year-old is still recovering from an injury that has kept her away from tennis since June. Speaking on Sky Sports Tennis, Croft said Raducanu should end her 2026 season to recover fully and make a comeback next year. She believed that although this decision could affect Raducanu’s ranking because of points she has to defend, her health should be the priority right now.

“It wouldn’t be a surprise if she made that decision. That wouldn’t be such a bad decision to take because you can fully heal, rest up, get as much treatment as possible and then come out fully fit, raring to go at the start of next year,” Croft said.

“Maybe if there’s a worry about the ranking drop with so many points to defend and potentially that ranking could plummet, although she might benefit from the protected ranking. All of these factors have to be considered, don’t they? But at the end of the day, your health is your wealth, as they say, and that is the most important factor and she just needs to get herself fit.”

Emma Raducanu won the 2021 US Open as a qualifier and has since then navigated many struggles.
