BREAKING: King Charles makes first exciting announcement just hours after Harry, Meghan’s UK arrival
King Charles III and Queen Camilla have dropped first exciting update just hours after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle touched down in the UK.
On Wednesday, August 26, the official Instagram account of the Royal Family announced Queen Camilla and King Charles’ first Autumn Tour to The Bahamas in October.
The dates of the tour were revealed in the caption which read, “The King and Queen will undertake an Autumn Tour from Tuesday, 27th October to Wednesday, 4th November 2026.”
“This will include Their Majesties’ attendance at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2026,” it added.
As per the official post, the purpose of the visit is to “celebrate communities, cultures and Nature within the Commonwealth family.”
The Palace further announced that “At the invitation of the President of Guyana and at the request of the UK Government, His Majesty will then undertake a State Visit to Guyana, celebrating 60 years of bilateral relations between the UK and Guyana.”
