Kim Kardashian has so many careers and so many children, it’s no wonder she has assistants coming out of her ears. How else does a woman of her considerable needs keep on top of her professional and personal diaries, run around after her kids, manage her properties and make sure she is clothed, fed and watered?

Well luckily for her, her smitten new man Lewis Hamilton seems more than happy to join her army of staff, making sure she has everything she needs at her fingertips.

But when he was snapped pulling up to her film set to drop off her lunch in a white paper bag, it raised a few titters among some celeb watchers who accused him of being under her perfectly manicured thumb. However, far from feeling embarrassed about these murmurs, we hear Kim is delighted with this level of devotion. It’s the commitment she’s been looking for.

Our source close to the couple tells us that jokes about him being a glorified assistant are actually not far from the truth. Lewis, we’re told, caters to her every whim – which couldn’t be further from his previous reputation as an elusive playboy who refused to be pinned down.

The insider says of their seven-month relationship, “All Kim has to do is mention that she wants something and Lewis makes it happen, whether that means getting it for her himself or having it sent to her, he’s in total puppy dog mode. It has a lot of people pretty shocked because this is not his style at all, usually he’s very aloof with the women, he mostly acts like he can take it or leave it, but with Kim it’s different, he’s completely under her spell.”

This is the ideal situation for Kim, we hear. As one of the world’s most beautiful and wealthy women, she expects nothing less than being placed high on a pedestal in her relationships. But in recent years, things have not gone this way for her.

Says our source, “Kim loves it when men dote on her and make her feel like a princess, it’s a huge turn on for her. Kanye used to treat her this way back in the day when things were good between them and it’s one of the reasons she fell in love with him so hard. But that all died after they got married and it flipped around and she was always the one always pretzeling herself to try and make him happy. So, it is definitely a breath of fresh air to have a man treating her like a prize again, and not just any man, one of the hottest men in the world, or at least that’s how she sees him.”

Sir Lewis Hamilton, who hails from Stevenage in the UK and was knighted by the now King Charles in 2021, is a catch by anyone’s standards. As a seven-time world Formula One racing champion, he’s worth £435 million and is the richest current British sportsperson thanks to his F1 contracts, brand endorsements, ventures and investments. He’s also easy on the eye – another reason why he’s snagged a string of high-profile models, actresses and singers such as Nicole Scherzinger, Gigi Hadid and Rita Ora. But at 41 he has never been married, engaged, or had children, leaving many to believe none of these women met his impossibly high standards.

We’re told the attraction for Kim, 45, goes beyond looks and wealth, or even the level of adoration he shows her. They have an array of shared heartfelt interests. They are both astute businesspeople and stakeholders in the acting and producing world. And as the first black Formula One racer who has experienced racism, Lewis is a prominent activist for racial equality and more diversity in his sport. Kim speaks out against oppression and, through her advocacy and legal work, has successfully campaigned to overturn miscarriages of justice, often centred around people of colour.

These common interests mean the pair have known each other since 2014, having frequently crossed paths at global events. But both were always in relationships, or in Kim’s case, marriages, as she has three under her belt. It wasn’t until the start of this year that their friendship turned romantic and they were publicly pictured together at the Superbowl in February.

Our source says, “Lewis isn’t just good looking, he’s this huge star in his own right and he has a real aura of success around him. Kim sees people absolutely fawning over him wherever they go and yet he’ll drop everything to be with her and do whatever it takes to make her smile, it’s been a huge boost for her confidence.

“He’s so thoughtful, he never comes over empty handed, flowers, candy, lingerie, food, he always has something for her. He usually has something for the kids too, which has obviously scored him a ton of points with everyone, but especially Kim because it melts her heart that he wants to bond with her kids and put in that kind of effort.”

This summer, the couple were snapped at the Monaco Grand Prix and at California festival Coachella. They hard-launched their relationship on social media, posting pictures and videos of them vacationing together with her children, North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, eight and Psalm, seven, at her lake house.

And we hear, Lewis is keen to impress on Kim that his devotion doesn’t end when their jobs and families take them in different directions.

“When they aren’t together, he’s very consistent about texting her and staying in touch every day. Most nights he’ll video call and talk to her until she falls asleep and then every morning, she’ll wake up to the sweetest messages from him. She says she’s blown away by how attentive he is. At first, she was worried it was all a little too good to be true and she couldn’t help but be afraid that he was going to leave her heartbroken, but it’s been more than six months now, and if anything, he’s gotten even more adoring.

He’s still his own man, he wouldn’t take kindly to it if she started bossing him around or throwing tantrums, but she’s very wisely not taking this for granted or acting bratty. They’re still very much in the honeymoon stage so there’s no telling if they’ll have this dynamic forever, but at this point she’s got him in the palm of her hand. He doesn’t seem to care one bit that his friends are giving him a hard time about this, his response is that they’re just jealous that he’s dating the sexiest woman in the world.”

Currently, Lewis is on summer break from F1. Kim is busy filming in LA and he’s basing himself in America to be with her for the coming weeks. So, the only racing he’ll be doing is running after his beloved and catering to her every need. Lucky Kim.
