Taylor Fritz, Morgan Riddle Breakup Resurface After New Accusations – She wasn’t ready to be stepmom
The reasons Taylor Fritz’s split from his former long-term girlfriend, Morgan Riddle, have been revealed, with the influencer “not ready” to be a stepmom to the tennis star’s 9-year-old son.
Fritz, 28, and Riddle, 29, dated for six years after meeting on a dating app in 2020. Riddle, who boasts a large social media following, often grabbed attention regularly at Grand Slam tournaments, with her fashion statements catching the eye as Fritz fought for glory on the court.
Whether it was Down Under in Melbourne, Paris, London, or New York, Riddle made her support crystal clear. Behind the scenes, the pair were also building a life that included Fritz’s son, Jordan, who was born in January 2017 at the start of his second full Grand Slam campaign as a pro.
Fritz’s split from Riddle, dubbed “the most famous woman in men’s tennis,” sent shockwaves through the tennis influencer/social media sphere.
The pair broke up in April 2026, and Riddle hasn’t been shy to express her thoughts and feelings as she looks to ride off into the sunset in a different direction.
Riddle’s social media presence has kept her in the tennis world beyond her breakup with Fritz. Awkwardly, she appeared at the US Open in New York, where he was playing, until his shock third-round exit to Francisco Cerundolo on Saturday.
However, the real reasons behind their split have now been revealed by Page Six. According to the outlet, Riddle “wasn’t ready” to be a stepmom to Fritz’s son, Jordan. The influencer also didn’t want to live full-time in California.
She has so many opportunities and brand deals being an influencer and she wanted to be in New York full-time,” a source said. Fritz appeared to move on quickly after his breakup, too, which may have struck a nerve with Riddle.
Fritz was spotted with model Olivia Jade Giannulli at a club in West Hollywood. The pair also went to Tommy Paul’s wedding to influencer Paige Lorenze in July.
The tennis star was also spotted with Giannulli in New York City last month, but the pair has yet to officially confirm their romance.

Riddle’s appearance at the US Open was to support four-time Slam champ Naomi Osaka as well as fulfill brand obligations.
“Morgan had already secured a brand partnership contract prior to announcing her split from Taylor which is why she was seen at the US Open,” the source added.
“She also has her company [The 400 Club] so it makes sense. But she loves the attention it’s getting. That’s just who she is.
