Kim Kardashian’s Kids ‘Would Love’ for Lewis Hamilton to Propose and Become ‘Their Official Stepdad – Here’s why
Kim Kardashian isn’t the only one hoping boyfriend Lewis Hamilton will put a ring on it. Her kids want them to get married too, a source tells Star.
“They’d love to see him pop the question soon and would welcome him as their official stepdad with open arms, no question,” the source says of North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West. “Even North, who’s famously close to her dad, can see he treats her like a queen.”
He also dotes on the reality TV star’s children.
The Formula One driver, 41, couldn’t help but gush about how much he loves spending time with them at a recent press panel.
“She’s got four, so I’m getting to play with these kids,” he said in a TikTok video posted by Formula 1 ahead of the F1 Grand Prix in Austin. “I got them a dog this year, so little Halo is a new member of that family.”
Hamilton, who was first linked to the Skims mogul, 46, in February, has “been very respectful from the get-go and worked hard to build the kids’ trust over a period of time,” the source notes. “They were all bowled over when he bought them this puppy, but what counts for the most is how wonderfully he treats their mom.”
West, however, doesn’t seem as enthused about their whirlwind romance.
“Needless to say, Kanye’s pretty jealous and making noises about Lewis overstepping the mark by trying to buy his way into the kids’ good books,” shares the source. “But nobody takes him all that seriously at this point, certainly not Kim or Lewis, since … it’s clearly just a classic case of sour grapes.”
As Star previously reported, the “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” rapper, 49, can’t stand seeing The Kardashians star move on, despite having remarried himself, and doesn’t want her to be with anyone else, let alone Hamilton.
However, “Kanye had better get used to it because Lewis isn’t going anywhere,” the source says. “Kim adores Lewis and they’re building a beautiful life together.”
