Queen Camilla’s personal letter surfaces amid Diana’s memoir controversy: ‘I will be…’

A heartfelt letter from Queen Camilla has been emerged as Royal Family tensions intensify with new row.

As reported by Hampshire Chronicle, Camilla extended her support for a major upcoming book event, scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

In the letter, dated August 7, 2026, Camilla wished Romsey WI, a “huge success” as it organizes Romsey Literary Day to celebrate writing and connect the authors, publishers and literary groups.

“As you prepare to hold your second Romsey Literary Day, I wanted to write to say that I will be thinking of you all on October 3,” wrote the Queen in her letter.

She continued, “I am sure that the event will be a huge success, bringing the local community together in a shared love of books.”

“Have a wonderful time – I will be raising a glass to you!” added Camilla before concluding her letter.

This year, the theme of the Romsey Literary Day, which marked its 50th anniversary in May, is “Detecting, Investigating, Creating” and it will take place at Crosfield Hall.

On Monday, September 22, 2026, Earl Charles Spencer released his highly anticipated memoir, Swan Song: Diana, My Sister – which sparked a fresh controversy against King Charles.

In his controversial book – which contains various details of Diana’s life with King Charles – who was Prince of Wales at the time of his marriage with the late Princess, Earl also recalled a telephonic chat with his former brother-in-law.
