Injuries have marked the 2026 season of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.
A situation that doesn’t particularly worry Rafael Nadal, for whom these physical issues can be a consequence of the demands of the very highest level.
“It’s normal”
Speaking to Sky Sport during his visit to Madrid (for the F1 Grand Prix), Nadal had this to say:
“It’s normal. A professional athlete faces too great a physical demand. I think it’s normal that after two or three years at such a level of physical exertion, some injuries occur.
But they are coping very well, and we can see that the recovery process is going well.”
