Lando Norris’ 2026 run has left him “hurt” amid romance rumours with content creator Alix Earle.
After securing his first race victory of the season in Hungary, the British driver said he’s driving better than the last year, despite not having a car that can reflect his efforts.
“Right now, I would probably say it was up there with one of my best performances, in terms of extracting performance out of the car and being so close to the limit every single lap. So close that the team had to ask me to peg it back a little bit,” Lando told the media.
Notably, Lando’s chances of back-to-back titles appear slim with half of the season in the books, as he sits 91 points down on leader Kimi Antonelli.

Having not had the car to constantly challenge for wins this year, Norris admits that it “hurts” to be driving in better form compared to 2025 and not have the car to deliver similar results.
“Although it kind of hurts me saying it because it doesn’t mean that you just win, I feel like I’m doing a better job this year than I was last year, and I have done for a little while,” he said.
Lando Norris and Alix Earle spotted in Ibiza
The emotional admission came as Lando made headlines with another outing with American influencer Alix Earle, sparking romance speculations.
The pair, who have already been linked following outings in Monaco and London earlier this year, were seen enjoying Ibiza’s nightlife on Friday.
Making the most of summer break, the McLaren driver was spotted spending time with the influncer and her pals in Ibiza.
Their evening reportedly began at Hi Ibiza, where they watched Australian DJ Dom Dolla perform.
Later, the group made the short trip to Amnesia Ibiza, a nightclub known for its large shows and live performances.
Alix had arrived in Ibiza earlier that day for a friend’s birthday celebration. She stunned in a brown sequin dress and later posed inside the club, wearing a sparkling cat mask.
While Lando kept it casual with a long-sleeved T-shirt and a baseball cap.
They were also joined by Olympic gold medal-winning skateboarder Keegan Palmer.

Moreover, the outing also sparked questioned about Lando’s on-and-off romance with Portuguene actress Margarida Corceiro, who was also in Ibiza according to her social media.
Lando and Corceiro had been in a rocky relationship for the past two years, with the pair first splitting up in 2024 before getting back together.
Earlier this year it was reported that they had ended their relationship once again, although rumours suggested they attended a football match together in April.
