Back in October, it was revealed that the Beckhams had trademarked the name HIKU By Harper in the UK, ultimately confirming Harper’s beauty plans. Victoria, 52, has confirmed that a skincare range is indeed in the works, revealing that her daughter ‘loves makeup and skincare’ and was inspired to launch her own line after she ‘really struggled’ with her skin.

However, the Spice Girls star – also mum to Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 21 – has since revealed that the skincare brand has been put on the backburner while Harper focuses on her upcoming GCSE exams.

‘It was Harper’s idea but she loves it and it is something we can enjoy but at the moment she is focusing on her GCSEs,’ Victoria said.

It comes amid the Beckham family feud, which came to a head earlier this year. It had long been rumoured that eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz were not seeing eye-to-eye with Victoria and David.

Whispers of a feud quickly emerged, especially after some tense public appearances, such as the Netflix premiere for the Beckham documentary in 2023. A clip from the red carpet appeared to show Victoria giving her eldest son the cold shoulder while Nicola remained stoney-faced throughout.

But it was a bombshell six-page statement released by Brooklyn, 27, in January that ultimately confirmed the fallout was real – and severe.

Several allegations were made in the statement, including that his mother ‘hijacked’ his first dance and that she’d pulled out of designing Nicola’s wedding dress ‘at the 11th hour’. And insiders say that while he’s concerned about his sister, he’s also relieved to no longer be caught up in the Beckham fanfare.

‘As Brooklyn watches the hype around Harper’s upcoming skincare range take hold he has told friends that every family post he sees promoting a new Beckham launch or collaboration or business success just makes him more relieved that he has broken ties.

Even the recent news about his parents reaching billionaire status made him see such a difference between them and the billionaire Peltz clan. With the Peltz family, he doesn’t feel like he’s required to be paraded around and part of a brand. He doesn’t miss it,’ the source revealed.
