Kensington Palace announcement about Kate has delighted the royal fans.
As per details, Kate will join the King and Queen at tonight’s reception, held at St James’s Palace, celebrating the charity’s work.
In her report for the Daily Express, Emily further said the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester will also attend the reception.
The anniversary event, hosted by the King as Patron of Cancer Research UK, will highlight the charity’s impact and showcase the work of the researchers, clinicians, volunteers, and partners who contribute to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer.
King Charles and Kate both were diagnosed with cancer back in 2024.
The Princess of Wales was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer at the start of 2024, following major abdominal surgery.
Later, the future queen underwent six months of chemotherapy, and in January 2025, she announced that she was in remission.
She has since resumed full-time royal duties, and last month undertook her first overseas trip since her diagnosis.
Meanwhile, King Charles was diagnosed with cancer at a similar time and continues to receive treatment for the disease.
