Just In: King Charles receives exciting news as fans weigh on success of his reign so far
King Charles has received amazing feedback as he marked three years since his Coronation. The 78-year-old ascended the throne following his late mother, Queen Elizabeth II’s, death in 2022 – but his Coronation didn’t take place until May 6, 2023.
In a poll conducted by the Daily Express, royal fans were asked whether Charles has fulfilled his wish to be a good King. In the poll, which ran between 6am on May 6 and 9.20am on May 8, 3,489 cast a vote.
A staggering 2,640 voted ‘yes’, suggesting that they believe the King has done a good job in his role so far
Seven hundred and fourty eight people voted ‘no’, whilst an additional 101 people voted that they were unsure on whether he had done a good job or not.
Taking to the comment section, one fan wrote: “Our King certainly is doing an excellent job and suffering from cancer continues to perform his Royal duties; an example to our youth”.
Another added: “Yes he is a great king”.
A third commented:”‘He was charming, funny, courageous, and reminded everyone why the Monarchy remains one of Britain’s greatest assets’. Couldn’t have put it any better myself.
The King’s recent visit to the US has proved a success, especially with a speech that he gave during the state banquet alongside US President Donald Trump.
Full of praise for the King was Piers Morgan, who penned a tweet to his millions of followers on X. He wrote: “King Charles has been a triumph on this US trip. His speeches yesterday were the most brilliant act of much-needed diplomacy that I can remember in a long time.
“He was charming, funny, courageous, and reminded everyone why the Monarchy remains one of Britain’s greatest assets.
