Meghan Markle has been called out for her “disastrous habit” after the latest brutal takedown and her no-show at major glitzy US event. The 44-year-old saw Saturday Night Live make a series of brutal jokes at her expense over the weekend.
Meghan, who is no stranger to star-studded events since stepping down from royal duties in 2020, was also noticeably absent from the 2026 MET Gala – which took place in New York City on May 4.
Speaking of the former working royal, royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams said: “The normally liberal SNL finds Meghan funny. One of Meghan’s most infuriating characteristics is the way she takes herself so seriously.
“She seems immersed in positivity. It’s relentless but cannot overlook the fact that, apart from her mother she has fallen out with both sides of her family.”
Discussing her “disastrous habit”, he added: “She also has a disastrous habit of falling out with Hollywood’s top power brokers.
“Reports have indicated that Netflix’s executives don’t trust her and can’t stand her either.
Meghan previously attended Paris Fashion Week last year, and it was recently revealed that she had secured a deal with an AI-powered fashion website.
During the episode of SNL, Colin Jost said King Charles’s recent visit to the US was a subterfuge to “seek the release of a British hostage being held by an American terrorist.”
It was thought he was referring to Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan as picture of the couple appeared on the screen at that moment.
