SHOCKING: Royal fans spot crucial detail missing from Princess Eugenie’s latest announcement

Princess Eugenie announced her third pregnancy this week, but the Palace’s statement was missing a major detail, and fans were quick to spot it. Buckingham Palace released a statement on Monday morning to share the joyous news and said Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are “very pleased”.

The new royal baby is due to arrive “in the summer”. Eugenie’s sons, Ernest and August, are said to be “very excited” for the new addition.

The Palace said that the King has been informed and he is “delighted” for his niece and her husband.

In a photograph shared by Eugenie, 36, Ernest, wearing a Chelsea football kit, and August, wearing a long-sleeved grey t-shirt, could be seen holding a picture of a baby scan.

It was accompanied by a message on her Instagram account, which read: “Baby Brooksbank due 2026! [heart and baby emojis]”

However, fans were quick to spot a major detail missing from Buckingham Palace’s announcement.

The statement read: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.

“August (aged five) and Ernest (aged two) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family.”

The Palace concluded: “His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.”

Previous royal announcements would always conclude with the sentence about both families being “delighted with the news.”

In October 2024, Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, announced her second pregnancy, with the Palace stating: “Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their second child together early in the new year; a sibling for Wolfie and Sienna.

“His Majesty The King has been informed and both families are delighted with the news.”

For Eugenie’s second pregnancy, which was announced on January 24, 2023, the Palace released a statement which read: “Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are pleased to announce they are expecting their second child this summer.

“The family are delighted and August is very much looking forward to being a big brother.”

On September 25, 2020, the Palace said about her first pregnancy: “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021.

“The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.

This year’s omission was likely due to Eugenie’s father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s, recent humiliation due to his links to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson both lost their royal titles and have been banished into humiliation following public furore.

It is likely that the Palace did not want to spark public fury by mentioning Eugenie’s family.

Jack Brooksbank’s family was neither mentioned.
