đ Heartbreak Behind the Glamour: Victoria Beckham âDreadingâ Birthday Amid Emotional Strain

What should have been a joyful celebration has taken a somber turn, as those close to Victoria Beckham reveal she is quietly approaching her birthday with a sense of dread.
Known worldwide for her poise, elegance, and successâfrom her days with the Spice Girls to building a global fashion empireâVictoria rarely lets the world see moments of vulnerability. But this time, insiders suggest the occasion carries a deeper emotional weight.
Victoria Beckham celebrated her milestone 50th birthday surrounded by her family â including estranged son Brooklyn â and A-list friends. But as she prepares to turn 52 next week, things couldnât be more different.
While her eldest son may have snubbed her 51st bash in Miami last year, this will be her first since he publicly disowned her and his father, Sir David, via a devastating six-slide Instagram post in January.
Now, a source tells us Poshâs upcoming birthday on 17 April, will be more of an endurance test than a cause for celebration, after Brooklyn accused her of âhijackingâ the first dance at his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz.
Victoriaâs dreading it,â says our source. âItâs really, really difficult for her. Sheâs trying to keep busy with work to distract herself, but her heart is broken.â
Itâs all in stark contrast to how the singer-turned-fashion designer has celebrated her big day in years gone by, when sheâs put her children, including Romeo, 23, Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14, front and centre.
Going forward, however, birthdays look set to become increasingly bittersweet occasions for the family, who were previously considered one of the tightest units in showbiz.
Last month, on Brooklynâs 27th, David and Victoria extended an olive branch, both acknowledging his special day with affectionate social media posts.
Taking to Instagram, they shared touching throwback photos of themselves with their son, along with heartfelt birthday wishes.
Posting a snap of himself and Victoria holding Brooklyn as a baby, dad David wrote, â27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you x.â Sharing the same photo alongside a black and white shot of herself with Brooklyn as a toddler, Victoria penned, âHappy Birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much.â
Sadly, the messages are likely to have rankled with Brooklyn, who hit out at his parentsâ âperformative social media postsâ in his stinging online statement.
Last month, he didnât publicly acknowledge Victoria on Motherâs Day, instead posting on Instagram to wish his mother-in-law, Claudia Heffner Peltz, a happy birthday. According to our source, itâs highly unlikely his own mother will receive the same treatment next week.
âVictoria knows sheâs going to be ignored by Brooklyn â heâs totally blanking her with every form of contact,â says our source. âThe gushing birthday post about Nicolaâs mum was just a knife to the heart. She thinks he purposely did it to hurt her and just doesnât understand. David thinks Brooklyn has been cruel and is at the end of his tether now. He doesnât want to talk about Brooklyn now.â
With Brooklyn now out of the picture, itâs believed her other three children â who all appear to be âTeam Mum and Dadâ â will be doing everything they can to make her birthday as special as possible.
In recent months they have been at Poshâs side at key events, including Paris Fashion Week, where she received one of Franceâs top accolades, the Knight of the National Order of Arts and Letters, at the capitalâs Ministry of Culture.
David, Harper, Romeo and Cruz â as well as the boysâ respective girlfriends, Kim Turnbull, 24, and Jackie Apostel, 30 â looked on proudly as the she received her honour. Harper later posted a sweet tribute to her mother, writing, âMy biggest role model xâ.
More recently, the family were out in force again to support Cruz as he and his band performed at the Courtyard Theatre, Hackney, London on 27 March. They were joined by Victoriaâs former Spice Girl bandmate Geri Halliwell, 53, and her 19-year-old daughter Bluebell, with onlookers describing the atmosphere as having âbig happy family vibesâ.
Yet despite Cruzâs successful tour helping to lift his motherâs spirits, our source says sheâs still struggling with her estrangement from her firstborn.
âItâs all becoming too much,â says our source. âThe rest of the family have been amazing, and they are all going to be showing Victoria what a wonderful mum she is on her birthday, but itâs going to be a difficult day for her.
âCruz, in particular, can see how much his mum is hurting. Heâs really been there for her and is very understanding and empathetic.â
Itâs hardly surprising Victoria is finding it hard to move on. The former Spice Girl has long spoken of the importance of family, and as recently as last October stressed that being open is key. âThe way weâve brought up our kids is all about communication. Itâs good to talk,â she said.
âAs a family, we try to have dinner together every night â itâs phones down and âWhat has everyone done today?â Just making sure that itâs a safe forum for everybody to be honest and talk and laugh.â
And while the family may live the type of lavish lifestyle most can only dream of, she has said that she and David have ânever spoiled the children with anything other than loveâ, adding that they are an affectionate family who are âalways cuddlingâ.
For Victoria and Brooklyn, that closeness is sadly a thing of the past and while his siblings might be doing their best to compensate, our source says it will be impossible for Victoria to fully enjoy her big day next week.
âSheâs trying to be strong, and will put on a brave face, but itâs tough,â says our source. âShe knows she has great support from David and her children, but all she really wants is to have Brooklyn back in her life.
