SHOCKING BREAKING NEWS: Tennis Fans Left Confused as Andy Murray Faces “Heartbreaking” Moment Amid Reported Tension at Home

The tennis world has been left puzzled following reports surrounding Andy Murray and an emotional situation involving his wife, Kim Sears. What began as light curiosity about Murray’s growing interest in a new sport has reportedly evolved into a deeply personal and “heartbreaking” moment behind the scenes.

Andy Murray’s wife Kim says she would “like to draw the line somewhere” as the tennis legend continues his new golfing obsession after hanging up his racket.

The former British number one walked away from the game following the Paris Olympics in 2024, having cemented his status as one of the greatest players of his generation. A glittering career saw him win no fewer than 46 titles, including two Wimbledons and one US Open, as well as three Olympic medals.

He has kept busy in retirement with several exciting new ventures, including business endorsements and a new role as a venture capitalist, as well as teaming up with former rival Novak Djokovic for a short-lived coaching stint at last year’s Australian Open.

However, the 38-year-old has discovered a new love since leaving professional tennis behind, spending much of his time out on the golf course honing his skills.

While he has only been taking golf seriously for just over a year, Murray has already impressed those higher up in the game with his ability, stealing the show at various pro-am competitions and targeting a place at The Open next year.

His love of the game is well-documented, and it looks to be influencing decisions at the luxury Scottish hotel that he has owned with Kim for over a decade.

The couple purchased the Cromlix Hotel near Murray’s hometown of Dunblane for a reported sum of £1.8 million in 2013 and took over the running of the venue four years ago.

With Kim acting as the “creative force” behind their venture, the hotel has undergone extensive refurbishment over the years to win awards and become one of the most sought-after luxury venues in Scotland, with rooms costing up to £950 per night.

Sitting in 34 acres of private grounds and woodland, Cromlix already boasts 10 bedrooms, five suites and a one-bedroom lodge, as well as its own private chapel, tennis court, pickleball court and a restaurant run by an award-winning chef.

However, Kim has now revealed plans for further additions to the venue, namely a new restaurant – The Garden Room – and three new bedrooms, as well as a “woodland cabin wellness destination”.

That is not all, as she revealed that her husband’s love of golf has led them to install some putting greens outside the hotel. However, she is prepared to put her foot down if he proposes any more ambitious projects.

Asked if a Cromlix golf course was a possibility, Kim told The Scotsman: “He doesn’t need any encouragement!

We have got an area, and I don’t know how much of this is Andy or how much is [general manager] Barry [Makin] who loves his golf, but we are putting in some putting greens.

“[It’s] not a big official putting green – but a little area where there’s some holes in the ground that you could hit a golf ball towards.

“I’ve been told it’s got all the correct drainage and things, but I’d like to draw the line somewhere,” she added. “I think if he had his way, we’d have everything ripped up and golf courses scattered around everywhere.”
