Princess Kate reveals top priority for when she becomes Queen

Princess Catherine is thriving in her role as The Princess of Wales, which will prepare her for her future role as Queen. When marrying Prince William in 2011, Catherine was well-aware that this would mean she would one day be known as Queen when he becomes King.

While this may be a daunting thought, and one that no doubt crosses her mind now and again, it is believed Catherine’s work as a royal already is setting the stage for her future role. This includes work that is close to her heart, especially work involving children and their development.

Although Catherine has never pinpointed what her ambitions will be when she is Queen, she did once hint at what her priority will be in terms of her royal work.

This hint was made during a conversation between Catherine and a school child at the Chelsea Flower Show a few years ago.

The 11-year-old shared what they spoke about after Catherine had left, as reported by The Mirror.

The school child said: “I asked her what’s the first thing she is going to do when she becomes Queen and she said she is going to help kids.

Catherine is very passionate about helping children, especially about how the early years of a child’s life can impact their development.

In
June 2021, The Princess of Wales launched The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood.

The aim of this is to raise awareness of the impact the early years can have on children, which therefore has the potential to transform society for the future.

The princess has worked hard to raise awareness and bring about change to help future generations.

This work is set to be continued by Catherine, 44, in the future, even when her and her husband Prince William sit on the throne.
