Breaking News: David and Victoria Beckham have ‘drawn a line’ with Brooklyn but it’s ‘desperately sad’

David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have reached a turning point in their relationship with eldest son Brooklyn Beckham, with sources claiming the couple have “drawn a line” amid ongoing tensions.
While details remain private, insiders describe the situation as “desperately sad” — not dramatic, but deeply emotional for a family long known for its close-knit bond.
Friends of David and Victoria Beckham say the couple continues to love Brooklyn “without question” despite his incendiary post. It comes as the pair reached out to their estranged son today in what was the first interaction since he made a series of explosive allegations in January.
A pal said that the gesture – in which they posted a picture of him as a boy alongside a happy 27th birthday message – was a “mark of how they will always love him no matter what.”
The pal added: “They can rise above the attacks and see the bigger picture….which is that they will love their son no matter what. They love him unconditionally, and will always do. It’s not just David and Victoria being forced to reach out this way….his three aunts posted too. It just goes to show that everyone wishes him the best, and everyone is prepared to draw a line under everything as they love and care for him so much.” The friend said it was still desperately sad that the only way they could communicate was via social media. The pal added: “They will all be there should things change.”
The social post comes after Brooklyn sent a legal letter last summer banning his parents from contacting them. Friends of Nicola Peltz have insisted that the letter requested that they stop tagging or mentioning him on social media as it was “triggering.” But insiders say that the communications “can’t stop a loving parent from posting about their child” and there have been other examples since last summer when the Beckhams have done so.
This time around David shared two photographs, the first of himself, Brooklyn and Victoria in a pool with the caption: “27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you.” The following image was of just David and Brooklyn, captioned: “Happy Birthday Bust, Love you.” Posh later also shared two photographs on her Instagram story including one that was captioned: “Happy Birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much.”
Brooklyn’s explosive statement in January accused them of putting “Brand Beckham” above all else. The scathing statement on Instagram said he had no desire to “reconcile” with his family. He went on to accuse his parents of controlling narratives in the press and “trying endlessly to ruin” his relationship with Nicola Peltz Beckham ahead of their wedding in 2022. He claimed his mum “hijacked” his first dance with his wife at their wedding and danced “inappropriately on me” in front of their guests, adding he had never felt more “uncomfortable or humiliated” in his life. He also alleged his wife had been “disrespected” by his family and was not invited to his father’s 50th birthday party. David and Victoria have not responded directly to the statement and neither have their other children, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
