Breaking News: Royal family in Turmoil as they’re deeply worried about King Charles – ‘Please don’t try to come
Concern is growing within the Windsor family, all due to a breaking news story that British media have uncovered. This information, without a doubt, directly affects King Charles III: “Please, don’t try to come.”
It’s no secret to anyone how important Balmoral Castle is to the current British monarch. In fact, it was there where Queen Elizabeth II spent her final days. However, his connection to this estate is much deeper.
Just as it was for the monarch, for Charles III, this historic building has become a place of tranquility and connection with nature. That’s why he has decided to keep the traditions of the place, including celebrating Christmas within its four walls. All of this is to honor his mother’s legacy and the history of the House of Windsor.
Moreover, as if that weren’t enough, since he ascended the throne he decided to open the castle’s doors to the public to bring this symbol of the British monarchy closer to the people. However, something has just happened that has completely disrupted all his plans.
As the country’s media have announced, next weekend’s weather conditions have forced Charles III to temporarily close Balmoral Castle. This information, without a doubt, has caused great concern within the Windsor family.
Balmoral, one of the most iconic Windsor family properties and Charles III’s favorite, closes its doors
The Windsor family has had to take exceptional measures due to the bad weather affecting the United Kingdom. According to reports, heavy rain and strong winds have forced King Charles III to close Balmoral Castle and estate, his most iconic Scottish residence.
Storm Amy, which is currently hitting the region with wind gusts of up to 62 mph (100 km/h), has put both its facilities and all its tourists at risk. In fact, the area has been under a yellow alert since Friday and authorities have recommended avoiding unnecessary travel.
For this reason, Charles III’s favorite residence was forced to close its doors earlier than usual, allowing the last entry at 3:00 p.m. Since then, and until further notice, they have temporarily suspended their activities to ensure everyone’s safety.
According to the Meteorological Office, forecasts indicate that the storm could cause structural damage, power outages, and possible injuries from falling objects. That’s why, faced with this concerning scenario, they have had to take extra precautions throughout the area surrounding the castle.
This isn’t the first time Balmoral has been affected by severe weather. On August 4, storm Floris already forced the estate to close its doors after recording winds of up to 85 mph (136 km/h). These weather events have become more frequent in recent months.
“Please, don’t try to come to the estate. Reservations scheduled for today will be refunded. Please, keep safe,” Charles III’s residence announced at that time through its official Instagram account.
