Donald Trump has made his feelings clear on Queen Camilla and King Charles.
The US president-elect, who mingled with the Royal Family in 2019 during his state visit to the UK, recalled the occasion in new behind-the-scenes footage from his election campaign.
The 78-year-old described Queen Camilla as “fantastic” as he flicked through a photo book of his 2019 visit.
Trump also shared his views on King Charles’s cancer diagnosis and his opinion on the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Looking through the book whilst travelling on his private jet, he said: “Here’s Charles, so beautiful.”
He added: “Hopefully he’s going to be well because he’s a really good person.
“Camilla is fantastic. You get to know them so well.”
During his first term, US President-Elect Trump and his wife, former First Lady Melania, joined the Royal Family for a banquet at Buckingham Palace in June 2019.
Donald Trump Jr., Ivanka and her husband Jared, Eric and his wife Lara, and Tiffany Trump were also present during the visit.
Trump acknowledged meeting King Charles, the then Prince of Wales, who is currently undergoing treatment for Cancer that he announced back in February earlier this year.
He said: “He’s now the King, here’s Charles with the guard.”
Donald Trump questioned if anyone else “has images like this” as he showed off photos from the engagement.
He said: “This was with Queen Elizabeth, she was always fantastic by the way.
“These images, I mean who has images like this? And these were relationships.”
He added later: “It’s a piece of history at the highest level.”
“This is your favourite president with the Queen, she was unbelievable, she was great, we had a very good relationship, really good.”
Donald Trump was elected to serve a second term in office by defeating Democratic candidate Kamala Harris during the US presidential election, with the results announced on Wednesday morning.
