Princess Kate tipped to join royals on Remembrance Sunday following health update

Princess Kate is expected to join other senior royals at this weekend’s Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph, marking a significant step in her gradual return to public duties following cancer treatment.

Prince William has provided an encouraging update on his wife’s health, saying: “She’s doing really well thanks
The prince shared the update during an interview ahead of his Earthshot Prize awards in Cape Town, where he added: “She’s been amazing this whole year.”

Kate’s last high-profile appearance was at Wimbledon in July, though she was seen in Merseyside last month meeting bereaved families of the Southport stabbing victims.

Kensington Palace is yet to formally confirm her attendance at the important royal calendar event in London.

Kate’s recent visit to Merseyside on October 10 marked her first joint public appearance with Prince William since completing her cancer treatment.

During the visit, the couple met privately with bereaved families affected by the Southport stabbings before greeting emergency responders.
The princess has been gradually resuming her royal duties, with sources indicating she has already held meetings about her annual Christmas carol service.

In June, she made a welcome return to public life at Trooping the Colour, acknowledging she had “good days and bad days” but was “not out of the woods yet”.
She was later seen at Wimbledon in July, where she presented the men’s trophy alongside Princess Charlotte and received a standing ovation from the crowd.

The mother of three has remained at home this week with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis while William attended the Earthshot Prize ceremony in Cape Town.

The Princess of Wales revealed her cancer diagnosis in March through an emotional video message, following post-operative tests after major abdominal surgery.

King Charles III, who has also undergone cancer treatment, said he was “so proud of his beloved daughter-in-law” for her courage in speaking out.
In September, Kate announced the completion of her chemotherapy treatment in a heartfelt video that showed footage of the Waleses enjoying family time outdoors.

“The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family,” she said in the video.

She spoke of entering “this new phase of recovery with a renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life,” while noting that “although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long.

Later that month, Kate was listed in the Court Circular for the first time since completing treatment, holding a meeting at Windsor Castle about early years development.
Queen Camilla is also expected to attend the Remembrance Sunday service despite currently battling a chest infection.

The Queen, 77, was forced to withdraw from Thursday’s Field of Remembrance opening at Westminster Abbey due to the illness.

She is currently resting at her Wiltshire home, Ray Mill, following a busy schedule that included an overseas tour to Australia and Samoa.
