Bad Omen: Queen Camilla forced to intervene with Kate Middleton about…

Queen Camilla had to intervene when a sibling disagreement broke out at the late Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.

The Royal Family led the nation in mourning following the death of the late Monarch in September 2022, and it was one of the first times we saw Prince George and Princess Charlotte at a formal event.

While they behaved impeccably for most of the day, there was one moment when things seemed to get too much for them. Prince George, then nine, and his younger sister Princess Charlotte, then seven, were seen walking behind King Charles III and other senior royals, reaching Westminster’s Welling Arch.

George appeared to try and pinch his sister, who let out a cry of discomfort, turning around to face her brother while exclaiming “Ow!,” reports the Mirror. While Meghan Markle was seen tilting her head and smiling sympathetically at Charlotte, Queen Camilla did not seem quite so understanding.

The Royal gestured sternly at Charlotte while whispering to her mother Catherine, the Princess of Wales “take her”, according to expert lipreader Jeremy Freeman. The sibling disagreement was captured on live TV, with eagle-eyed viewers taking to social media to join in the fun.

“What did Charlotte say when she turned back around? ” one TV watcher asked. “Was it wow? Ow? Cow? ” Another fan tweeted: “Looks like Prince George and Princess Charlotte have a small disagreement. Look at The Queen Consort, Camilla.”

The sibling duo, for the most part, behaved well during a lengthy event for young children. At one point, Charlotte was seen offering some helpful advice to George, with lip readers revealing she told the future King: “You need to bow.

Camilla and Charlotte share a close bond, with the Queen comforting the little girl when she stumbled while performing a curtsy to King Charles back in May 2021. Following her mother’s lead in curtsying, Charlotte lost her balance slightly, which led to Camilla giving her a gentle pat on the shoulder as she walked past.

Louis, the younger brother of George and Charlotte, famously caused a stir at the Queen’s Jubilee Flypast in June 2022. The young Royal was caught on camera making faces and picking his nose on the Buckingham Palace balcony, and even tried to squeeze past Queen Elizabeth, affectionately known as ‘Gan Gan’ by her great-grandchildren.

According to a lipreader, Kate said to the Queen: “He really is trying to squeeze by!”. “Look up at all that smoke!”, the Queen said to her cheeky great-grandson, according to expert Juliet Sullivan. After the flypast, she turned back to the young Royal and added: “Let’s go it’s finished now. That really was wonderful, so incredible.”

Viewers dubbed Louis a “rock star” and “too cute” for his adorable antics, with the Cambridge children continuing to be a hit with the public.
