Princess Kate and Prince William hid very big secret from Prince George about his future

Being part one of the most famous families in the world certainly has its perks but it can also have drawbacks too
Prince George may be a young 11-year-old boy but he also has a major responsibility ahead of him being second in line to the British throne.

Despite his monumental future, Prince George’s parents, Kate, Princess of Wales, and Prince William, decided to keep their son’s future from him and wanted him to have a “normal as possible upbringing”.

Kate and William previously relocated their family to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor in 2022 and enrolled all three of their children at the local Lambrook school, a leading co-educational Prep School.

The parents want all of their children to live as normally as possible even though Prince George is set to follow in the footsteps of his father, grandfather King Charles and great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth, as head of state.

There’ll be a time and a place to bring George up and understand how he fits in, in the world,” William previously said with a desire to have him none the wiser for as long as they can.

The Prince of Wales also added how the family live their day-to-day lives saying they’re “very normal”.

William is no stranger to the pressures faced by the Royal Family as he takes on the responsibility of being the future King himself.

Writer Gill Knappett wrote: “Like this father did, Prince George is enjoying as normal an upbringing as possible,” in the book William & Catherine: A Family Portrait.

She added how both royal parents are “determined to let him have as much privacy as possible”.

“Although they want his early years to be comparatively free from protocol and formality, they know they have to balance this desire with a respect for royal tradition.

“Their son, after all, will one day be Head of State.”
Author Catherine Mayer for Charles; The Heart of King, previously reiterated how both Kate and William were “trying to delay the moment of realisation for Prince George.

Speaking to E! News, Mayer said: “With George they are trying to delay that moment of realisation and give him normality before they thrust this on him.

“But it will be, nevertheless, part of his upbringing both in terms of what he sees his parents and grandparents doing and probably quite soon a beginning of an understanding that he is in public life and what that means.

George has two more years at Lambrook school before heading off in his father’s footsteps to Eton College.

George will attend boarding school at the prestigious location with a source reporting that Kate is dreading the moment when her eldest son leaves, however, has ultimately accepted that it’s part of his path.
