Princess Kate given nine-word instruction from Prince William at tense…

During the Platinum Jubilee in 2022, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out at a royal event for the first time since stepping back from royal duties in 2020 – and Prince William had specific instructions for Princess Kate.

The couples’ relations had been strained for years when they arrived at St Paul’s Cathedral to mark the landmark jubilee celebration of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

The couples were not together at the event, with each of them being sat on either side of the aisle, and were not seen speaking to each other.

After the ceremony, the then-Duke and Duchess of Cambridge left the cathedral without acknowledging the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, and were seen speaking to one another as they waited for their car to whisk them away.

According to lip reading expert John Cassidy, Prince William had a specific instruction for Kate as they left the ceremony, the Mirror reports.

Mr Cassidy claimed Kate could be seen remarking on the service, saying: “It went very well, very well” with William replying: “Yes, perfect.”

The now Prince of Wales could then be seen waving to the crowd saying hello, after which William then turned to Kate and said, according to the lip reader: “Wait for that to move, then we can go.”

Meanwhile Judi James, a body language expert, said Prince William gave Harry the “opposite” of acknowledgement during the service.

There was the opposite to an acknowledgement from William as he walked past Harry’s row during the parade out of the service”, she said.

“Sucking in his lips and with his chin pulled up in a gesture of resolve he appeared to turn his head in the other direction for a moment, raising his order of service high in a barrier gesture.
