Prince Harry makes unexpected peace offering to ‘stepmother’ Camilla

Prince Harry seemingly distances himself from the infamous claims that he once made about his stepmother Queen Camilla.

King Charles’ wife, who was dubbed as a “wicked stepmother” in Harry’s explosive memoir, Spare, will be becoming a target of some unflattering press as a new controversial documentary will rehash the Duke of Sussex’s brutal claims.
Channel 4 is set to release the documentary titled, Camilla: Harry’s ‘Wicked’ Stepmother?, a nod to Harry’s notorious claims.

However, Harry, who had been making efforts to repair his relationship with the royal family, especially after his father King Charles’ cancer diagnosis, made a meaningful gesture towards his stepmother.

According to The Sun, the producers wanted Harry and Meghan Markle to make a contribution to the upcoming documentary. However, no response was given by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

A statement from the Sussex office was issued recently to dissociate themselves from the show and any further speculations that may come up.

“Neither Duke or Duchess, nor their team, participated in the making of this documentary,” a spokesperson from the Archewell foundation said. “We would safely like to assume it will state as such in the show.”

The move appears to be an unexpected one as Harry remarked in his memoir, that him and his brother had begged their father to not marry Camilla.

Meanwhile, Camilla is reportedly still upset with how her stepson dubbed her as a “wicked stepmother” and also called her “dangerous,” “evil,” and “villain” among the 60 times he mentioned her name in Spare.

Despite her grievances, Camilla is reportedly the driving force behind King Charles, urging him to create a deeper connection with his US-based grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, as well.

It remains to be seen if Prince Harry’s move would be able to soften the monarch’s stance on him.
