Prince William’s ‘key’ royal allies as he battles Princess Kate and Prince Harry crises

Prince William’s key royal allies have been revealed by a former royal butler as the heir to the throne juggles the workload amid the Royal Family’s ongoing crises.

The Prince of Wales has faced a particularly challenging year after his father, King Charles and his wife, the Princess of Wales, were diagnosed with cancer and are now undergoing treatment for it.

On top of that, his ongoing feud with his estranged brother, Prince Harry shows no signs of signs of repair, as the two brothers failed to meet despite the Duke of Sussex’s two trips to the UK this year.

Now former royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for King Charles between 2004 and 2011, claimed that the heir to the throne has a “very good support system” around him from the wider royals and has found himself two trustworthy allies in two non-working members of the Firm – Zara Tindall and Princess Eugenie.

Mr Harrold added that William is likely “feeling very overwhelmed” at the moment, but royals “do come to support each other when needed.

Speaking on behalf of Spin Genie, he said: “William will probably be very overwhelmed at the moment, there are a lot of duties as a royal, but William did conduct many solo engagements before his marriage, and has continued to during his marriage too.

“This will be feeling like a lot to undertake and he’s doing a very good job of it. He will be supported by other members of the family.

“Even though his brother is no longer in the picture, he will have the support of his cousins, such as Zara and Beatrice, and the wider family.
“He does still have a very good support system around him. With the royals, they will come to support each other when it is needed.

The dad of three had a particularly busy schedule this summer as he attended several engagements after returning to work following a brief break to help support his family after Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis.

William made headlines with his reactions when he attended the Euro 2024 quarter-final and final matches as England unsuccessfully tried to win the football championship.

He also went viral in June after he was spotted “shaking it off” to Taylor Swift and taking a selfie with her and two of his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
