Alexander Zverev has beaten Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz to top spot in the list of earnings from this year’s Grand Slams. The German tennis star secured two Major titles this season, lifting the French and US Open for the first time in his career.
Before 2026, Zverev had reached four Grand Slam finals but failed to get his hands on the silverware. Now he has two wins from three Grand Slam final appearances this year, which has also landed him at the top of the table in money earned. Overall, the German has brought in a whopping £8.6million.
Sinner is second in the money rankings after defending his Wimbledon title against Zverev in July. The Italian has earned half of what his Zverev has this season, collecting £4.3m.
In third place is Alcaraz, who won the Australian Open at the start of the year before withdrawing from multiple tournaments due to injury. The Spaniard had a recurring wrist issue that sidelined him from the French Open and Wimbledon before he finally made his return in the United States.
The 23-year-old lost in the US Open quarter-finals to eventual runner-up Ben Shelton – who is fourth on this list with £2.6m in winnings. Overall, Alcaraz earned £2.7m this year despite spending most of his time sidelined.
Rounding off the top five is Novak Djokovic, whose best result in 2026 was reaching the Australian Open final. He fell before the final in all the other Majors, including a shock first-round exit to Mariano Navone at the US Open.
