BREAKING: Taylor Fritz caught in new dating drama after split from Morgan Riddle
The breakup between American tennis star Taylor Fritz and influencer Morgan Riddle may have been confirmed only weeks ago, but the rumor mill has been running at full speed ever since.
While Fritz is gearing up for Roland Garros, his personal life has generated almost as much attention as his backhand.
Fritz and Riddle had been together since June 2020, making theirs one of the more high-profile relationships on the professional tennis circuit.
Riddle built a loyal following as a content creator documenting the tennis lifestyle and the two became one of the sport’s most recognizable off-court couples.
The end of a six-year relationship
The split, which reportedly occurred around April 25, was confirmed through a combination of media reports and social media activity rather than any formal statement.
According to People, sources described the breakup as mutual, while Us Weekly reported that the two had “quietly split over a month ago.” No official reason has been given.
Riddle’s response was anything but quiet. She posted a photo wearing a “World’s Best Ex-Girlfriend” t-shirt on the very day the breakup became public knowledge, and later shared a photo of a new sequined Fendi bag captioned “Make breakups fun again.”
The posts drew widespread attention and considerable admiration for her composure. She has since relocated from Los Angeles to New York City, where she appears to be building a fresh chapter in her life.
It was not entirely out of nowhere. In April, an anonymous social media account had suggested Fritz had ended things.
Within days of the breakup becoming public, Fritz’s name was being linked to a new face. On May 5, anonymous tips to gossip platform DeuxMoi placed the 28-year-old at The Bird Streets Club, a members-only venue in West Hollywood, in the company of Olivia Jade Giannulli.
“At Bird Streets and Taylor Fritz is here with Olivia Jade. Sorry they are being strict with photos but they are very cozy,” one source reportedly wrote.
Olivia Jade, 26, is a YouTuber and influencer who rose to prominence partly through her parents’ involvement in the 2019 college admissions scandal. More recently she has been known for an on-and-off relationship with Australian actor Jacob Elordi, which ended in January 2026.
The pairing quickly became tabloid fodder. On “The Toast” podcast, co-host Claudia Oshry weighed in with characteristic directness: “This is so crazy! I love this for Olivia Jade, because, seriously, fk Jacob Elordi. But actually I get the vibe that he’s like an ahole.
I just feel like he’s not a good boyfriend.” Oshry also raised the fact that Fritz has a son, Jordan, born in early 2017 from his previous marriage to Raquel Pedraza, suggesting Jade might want to think carefully about entering a relationship with a parent.
Despite the noise, TMZ moved quickly to put the rumors in context. Sources close to Fritz told the outlet that he and Jade are not in a relationship, and that Fritz is not looking to get into anything new so soon after ending a six-year partnership. Their interactions, sources say, are purely casual — and not particularly remarkable given the social circles both move in around Los Angeles.
Fritz himself has remained silent on the matter. His only notable public appearance in the days following the split was a visit to The Original Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Irwindale, California on May 9. He posted a selfie in period-appropriate costume, captioning it “The nerd in me had to hit the Renaissance Faire,” and a second photo of the crowd with the caption “This makes me so happy.” Both posts circulated widely on social media.
