The Princess of Wales, 42, attended the Wimbledon Men’s Singles final on Sunday alongside her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and sister Pippa Middleton.

Kate presented the trophies to the winner and runner-up as part of her role as patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

This was the royal’s second high-profile outing of the year, following her appearance at Trooping the Colour in June
The Princess of Wales stepped back from public life following her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

Sarah Ferguson, 64, took to social media with a sweet statement responding to Kate’s return to public life.
She wrote: “A wonderful welcome for HRH The Princess of Wales at Wimbledon.

“So lovely to see her back there.

The Duchess of York has suffered her own battles with cancer over the past year.
In January 2024, Fergie was diagnosed with skin cancer after several moles caught the attention of her dermatologist.
The duchess was treated for breast cancer in 2023, having undergone a mastectomy and reconstruction surgery.

According to her spokesperson, Sarah’s dermatologist asked that several moles be removed to be analysed at the same time as her reconstructive surgery.

One of those was found to be malignant melanoma.
In March, Fergie’s daughter Princess Beatrice said her mother had been given the “all clear” from cancer in a rare TV interview.

Beatrice told This Morning: “She’s doing really well, thank you.

“She had a bumpy health scare last year but she’s all clear now.
