Heartbroken: Meghan Markle Humiliate Royal family with Brutal Comments; They Behaved like…

Meghan Markle has made several harsh comments about the royal family since she moved to the US in 2020. She once claimed that a few senior royals acted ‘like babies’ and expressed her frustrations over their behavior. It has long been known that Markle found it difficult to adapt to life as a royal. Just 18 months after her wedding to Prince Harry, the couple decided to step down as working royals.
Royal author Tom Quinn detailed Markle’s unhappiness with certain senior royals. As reported by The Mirror, in his book, Yes Ma’am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants, Quinn wrote, “Meghan really disliked the hierarchy,’ a member of her former team said. ‘Many of the rules do seem pretty pointless and exist only so that the relative status of each senior royal is protected.” As reported by Showbiz Cheatsheet, the author added, “And the senior royals are such a sensitive bunch — if one gets a gold pen or a new car, they all want one. Meghan thought they behaved like babies.”
Given the stark contrast between Hollywood and the royal family’s age-old traditions, it’s no surprise that Markle found the transition difficult. However, it was reported that Markle’s lack of knowledge didn’t stop her from stepping up confidently. Former staff members shared with Quinn that Markle’s early days at Kensington Palace were quite awkward. An insider allegedly told him, “It was extraordinary because she was so confident that you could see she wanted to run the meeting rather than learn about the royal family through the meeting. She was a great believer in grabbing the bull by the horns, except the royal family is not really a bull.
As reported by the Daily Mail, the palace insider added, “Meghan thought she knew better than an institution that has been in business for 1,000 years and more.” Another former palace staffer reportedly also told Quinn that Markle seemed to have a ‘messiah complex’. The person noted that Markle was focused on becoming the most famous and loved member of the royal family. Her know-it-all attitude also upset several palace aides who dubbed her ‘Duchess Difficult’. In his book, Quinn adds that Markle also had a loyal following. A few of the everyday staff admired her bold, change-driven personality.
Coming back to Markle’s troubles within the royal fold, she hated what she believed was an unfair dynamic behind palace walls—Prince William receiving more favorable treatment from staff than Harry as future king. In their six-part Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, the Duchess detailed how suffocated she felt within the institution and how it drove her to contemplate self-harm.
