Prince William, Kate Middleton make sad statement hours before King’s speech

Prince William and Princess Kate mourned the passing of precious lives in a tragic Liverpool incident.

On May 27, the royal couple released a joint personal statement, expressing their sadness over the devastating news.

William and Kate wrote, “We are deeply saddened by the scenes in Liverpool yesterday.”

“What should have been a joyful celebration ended with tragedy.

Our thoughts are with those who were injured and to the first responders and emergency services on the ground. W & C.”

As per sources, a car drove into a crowd of Liverpool fans on Monday evening, injuring 47 people, including four children.

The incident occurred during a Premier League victory parade in Liverpool’s city centre organized by the city’s official football team.

It is important to note that Prince William and Princess Catherine’s heartbreaking message came ahead of King Charles’ historic speech in Canada’s parliament.

The King will open Parliament in Ottawa, becoming the first monarch to do so since Queen Elizabeth II in 1957.
