‘Y’all Weird’: Frances Tiafoe’s Twin Brother, Franklin, Has a Disgusted Reaction as He Finally Breaks His Silence on the Baptiste Dating Rumours
Frances Tiafoe’s twin brother Franklin cleared rumors of him dating American tennis player Hailey Baptiste while sharing a dismayed reaction. Franklin has been a key member of Baptiste’s coaching team alongside Eric Hechtman since the start of last year.
Born only a few minutes after Frances in Maryland, Franklin was raised around the Junior Tennis Champions Center in College Park, Maryland, where their father worked. He guided Baptiste into the Top 100. As the rumors of him dating the American tennis player started making rounds, he shared a selfie with her on his Instagram story.
With a dejected look on his face, Franklin cleared the dating rumors and highlighted his brother-sister like realtion with Baptiste, writing:
Baptiste earned her career-high ranking of world No. 25 in May 2026. Her last outing was at the French Open, where she was forced to retire after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and meniscus damage in her left knee during the second round.
Frances Tiafoe had a stunning grass-court season this year, having won his fourth career title at the Halle Open and reaching the Stuttgart Open quarter-finals. He defeated his compatriot Taylor Fritz 6-4, 6-4 to win the Halle Open.

Frances Tiafoe expressed his discontent after losing in the first round at the Washington Open. He locked horns with the 2025 Cincinnati Open semi-finalist, Terence Atmane. The Frenchman made a comeback from a one-set defeat to win 4-6, 6-3, 6-4.
After the match, Tiafoe admitted that his performance wasn’t good enough. He added that the loss hurt him as he was expecting a better result after the wonderful performances he has executed so far this season.
“My respect to him for winning the match, but very, very poor from my side,” Tiafoe said. “I play every year, and I never performed how I have today. I was flat. Just wasn’t good enough.”
Attention now turns to whether Tiafoe will bounce back at the Canadian Open and Cincinnati Open.
