BREAKING! Laughing and Crying: Jennifer Aniston Leaves Fans Stunned as She Shares Shocking, Emotional News
Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston have announced the end of their hit TV series, The Morning Show, in emotional videos shared on social media.
Known in Australia as Morning Wars, the series was a flagship program for AppleTV+ when the streamer joined the market in 2019, with Witherspoon and Aniston signing on as its lead stars as well as executive producers.
Now, the duo are set to sign off for one last time when Season 5 airs in 2027.
“8 years. 5 seasons. So many memories,” Witherspoon captioned an Instagram video montage filled with highlights from the beloved series. “I can’t wait for you to see the final season.”
In the tear-jerking clip set to the show’s theme music, Witherspoon wrote in a text overlay: “You’re only as good as the people you work with and, wow, how lucky am I to work with the best?! Thank you to every cast and crew member who brought this story to life.”
The Emmy-winning drama followed breakfast TV presenters and journalists, Bradley Jackson (Witherspoon) and Alex Levy (Aniston), as they navigate the cutthroat, high-stress world of a morning news program.
Also starring Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman and Jon Hamm, the newsroom drama explores the impact the demanding roles have on their professional and personal relationships.
The cast have grown to become tight-knit over the years so saying goodbye is heartbreaking for Aniston.
“Laughing and crying,” she captioned on Instagram alongside a teary video of herself in a group hug with Witherspoon and Duplass, who plays their highly-stressed executive producer.
