Heartbroken: Prince William’s devastating plea after ‘having enough of it’ in ‘very sad’ moment

At just nine years old, Prince William made a poignant appeal to a Royal photographer, Arthur Edwards of The Sun has disclosed. During a skiing trip photo session, the young prince expressed his desire for privacy, which Edwards recounted in Channel 5’s documentary ‘Prince George: How to Make a Monarch’: “I remember once when we were in Switzerland on a skiing trip and they would do a photocall and I remember William saying to me, ‘Please Arthur, no more pictures, no more pictures’.”

Reflecting on the moment, Edwards said, “He was about nine or 10. He was very sad, he’s had enough of it and when I think back to that, I think ‘My God, how he suffered’, and he was determined that wasn’t going to happen to his children.

The topic of Prince William’s early years has been in the spotlight recently, with Princess Diana’s former lover James Hewitt appearing on Good Morning Britain to discuss the ongoing rift between William and Prince Harry.

Hewitt, 66, suggested that if Diana was alive today, she would be working tirelessly to mend the relationship between her sons, who have seen little of each other since Harry moved to the USA in 2020.

James spoke with Susanna Reid and Richard Madeley, expressing his thoughts on Royal family dynamics: “I think any mother would be worried and concerned about such a rift, as you put it, and she’d do her best to try and get them together.

The conversation swiftly shifted to future generations of the monarchy, stirring up conversations about Prince George’s potential as a King once he follows in his father’s footsteps.

Vanity Fair’s Royal correspondent Katie Nicholl told the Daily Express that Prince George’s strongest support will likely come from his younger sister, Princess Charlotte.

Nicholl opined that Princess Charlotte could parallel the supportive role Princess Anne has played for King Charles: “Charles and Anne were incredibly close and you do see a closeness between Charlotte and George. Rather than Charlotte being a threat to George, she will be possibly his greatest asset.”

Delving further into the expected dynamics between George and Charlotte, experts predict their different genders will facilitate a robust partnership.

Psychotherapist Lucy Beresford commented on sibling relationships in light of Royal expectations, saying: “If your eldest sibling is the same gender as you, how are you going to compete?”

She explored sibling rivalry, suggesting opposite genders might reduce tension: “That sense of the firstborn is going to get all of the love and I am going to get left with nothing.

“If you’re a different gender, somehow you haven’t got quite the same tension that you have with same-sex siblings.
