Royal drama never ends: Kate Middleton gets in trouble over comment against Meghan Markle

Kate Middleton has landed herself in some hot water after making a comment that has been interpreted as a dig against Meghan Markle.
The major task for various members of the British Royal Family right now seems to be making jam, with Markle and King Charles III engaged in a battle to see who can sell the most jams.
Markle recently rebranded her lifestyle brand from American Riviera Orchard to As Ever, and she announced that she will be making fruit preserves for people to buy from her online store.
King Charles, who has been selling royal strawberry jams, marmalade, and preserves for years, mocked Markle in an ad.
Now, Middleton seems to have weighed in on the war of jams by saying that she will share her own plum jam recipe for free, which some have taken to be a new way of competing with Markle.
She was recently visiting a community garden in Wales when she mentioned that she will share her recipe with those in attendance.
The Daily Mail revealed: “The Princess of Wales has promised to send her recipe for plum jam to young gardeners. The Princess heard how young volunteers at a community garden in Wales were growing plums, turning them into jam, and promised them, ‘I’ll send you my recipe so you can try it’.”
In an Instagram video explaining the rebrand, Markle said: “Of course there will be fruit preserves; I think we’re all clear at this point that jam is my jam.
Royal commentator Charles Rae told GB News: “She knows exactly what she’s doing here, especially as she makes her own plum jam. And she’s now giving that recipe for free to a well-wisher. I suspect that Kensington Palace will get flooded with requests for that recipe.
“Now, contrastingly, you’ve got Meghan, who’s now producing some jam. I think it’s a strawberry jam. And that is going to cost you £25 ($31) to £30 (37) a pop. That is four times more than a pot of jam that you could buy at the Highgrove Royal shop. That’s Prince Charles’s estate. So he’s selling jam as well. We’ve got jam wars going on.”
