Meghan Markle and Prince Harry make shock move as they hire ‘William and Kate’s…

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s communications team is welcoming a new member, Meredith K. Maines, as the pair gear up for some major launches.
Meredith has replaced Harry and Meghan’s spokesperson Ashley Hansen. She released a statement about joining forces with Archewell, with her new role set to begin on March 3.
I’m honored to partner with Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to highlight the amazing work they are doing through Archewell, their broader business portfolio, and nonprofit work,” Meredith wrote. She added, “I’m excited to help them tell their story as entrepreneurs, builders and philanthropists while overseeing all communications for the couple and their ventures.”
Meridith is believed to be a fan of Prince William and Kate Middleton, who Harry and Meghan have been estranged from for years.
Meredith isn’t new to high-profile roles, having worked at Google, American Idol, Hulu and most recently Lightspeed Venture Partners. Meanwhile, Ashley Hansen, who started with the Sussexes in 2022, bid goodbye to her role in October.
Archewell saw her exit to form her own venture, Three Gate Strategies, with a parting statement thanking Meghan and Harry for their steadfast support — a sentiment Meghan echoed with a statement of her own.
Meghan said, “We are so proud of Ashley, especially as a female entrepreneur. We look forward to having her focused expertise on our business and creative projects and her continued oversight of our communications team. My husband and I are excited to be alongside Ashley as she builds something extraordinarily special with her firm.”
Meridith’s new role comes as Meghan is about to launch her brand new Netflix show. With Love, Meghan will see the former Suits star joined by friends and famous guests such as Mindy Kaling and Abigail Spencer, discussing everything from “cooking, gardening and hosting tips.”
The show will be released on the streaming platform on March 4, having been pushed back from January due to the Los Angeles wildfires. Sharing the initial postponement news on Instagram, Meghan said, “I’m thankful to my partners at Netflix for supporting me in delaying the launch, as we focus on the needs of those impacted by the wildfires in my home state of California.”
