Kate Middleton ‘feels vindicated’ after Meghan Markle and Harry slammed in…
Kate Middleton is reportedly feeling a sense of ‘vindication’ following the bombshell Vanity Fair article on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
This comes as the US magazine reflected on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s five-year relocation to the States by publishing a cutting critique of the couple, with allegations sourced from former employees portraying Meghan as exceedingly difficult to work for and describing her as a ‘mean girl’.
The Royal pair have previously tackled rumors about Meghan’s supposed bullying of palace staff before their stateside departure in 2020. Now, future queen Kate, whose relationship with Harry and Meghan has been notably rocky since Harry’s revelations in his 2021 memoir Spare and the Netflix series titled Harry and Meghan, was also wrapped in controversy for purportedly bullying Meghan during their time together as working royals.
However, an insider has disclosed to Closer that “of course, everyone in the Palace has been talking about Meghan and Harry after they received such a damaging profile in Vanity Fair – which is shocking all round.
The source elaborated, saying, “Kate has had the toughest year of her life, which has put everything into perspective. The truth is she’s done with the drama with Harry and Meghan and is determined to go about her life without being involved.
They concluded: “But does she feel vindicated? Absolutely
The Vanity Fair article, titled Inside Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Big Business Ambitions, 5 Years After Their Royal Exit, unveiled a series of allegations from former employees of Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43. Some alleged they were compelled to sign an ‘NDA’ (Non-Disclosure Agreement), prohibiting them from discussing the couple or the reasons behind their abrupt departures, reports the Daily Record.
One individual, believed to have worked on Meghan’s Spotify podcast Archetypes, described being part of Meghan’s inner circle as ‘very painful.
It was] really, really, really awful.Very painful. Because she’s constantly playing checkers – I’m not even going to say chess – but she’s just very aware of where everybody is on her board,” they expressed.
“And when you are not in, you are to be thrown to the wolves at any given moment… It’s talking behind your back. It’s gnawing at your sense of self. Really, like, Mean Girls teenager,” they added.
In their 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Harry and Meghan made numerous accusations about the Royal Family, including that Kate had made the former Suits actress cry over Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaid dress, just four days before Meghan and Harry’s wedding in 2018.
