There is a renewed sense of excitement surrounding the Murray household after Jamie Murray shared uplifting news about the next chapter of his life and career.
The Scottish doubles specialist, long respected for his achievements on the ATP Tour, has reportedly outlined plans that signal ambition, growth, and continued involvement at the highest levels of tennis.

UK junior provider British Summer School has announced a new tennis partnership to provide an Active Away Programme by Jamie Murray.
Following the announcement, the British Summer School Champions of the Future course at Oundle School in Northamptonshire is now an Active Away Programme by Jamie Murray and is delivered in partnership with Active Away.

Steve Wood , Managing Director of BSS, said, “This collaboration strengthens our tennis offering by bringing high-quality coaching, energetic training sessions, and a player-focused development approach to the course.”

The Active Away coaching framework has been shaped by Jamie Murray, a seven-times Grand Slam doubles champion, Davis Cup winner and brother of Andy Murray.

“His expertise influences the training structure and coaching philosophy across Active Away programmes, giving our students access to guidance inspired by one of Britain’s most successful tennis professionals,” Steve said.

Features of the Champions Course, which is designed for young players aged 12-to-17 and is available through July, include an integrated learning approach, combining core English, sports science, and technical tennis training.

British Summer School said that structured tennis sessions have a maximum 1:6 coach-to-player ratio, and focus on technique, tactics, movement, mindset and on-court problem solving,

As well as the specialist programme at Oundle, a Pro Option Tennis option of six hours per week of targeted coaching is available as an optional add-on at all four British Summer School centres: Brambletye, Worth, Oundle, and Uppingham.

British Summer School, which was established as a new summer junior brand in 2020 by language and sports specialist Exsportise, is accredited by the British Council and is a member of English UK and the newly established English UK South East.

A partnership with Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur to deliver a football-based programme from summer 2026 was also recently announced
