Breaking News: Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice feels devastated as they ‘fear more Andrew allegations are coming’
His late mother famously branded 1992 as her annus horribilis, but for Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, 2025 may well go down as his darkest year. In October, his brother King Charles III initiated a “formal process” to strip him of his style, titles and honours.
By November, Andrew had been divested of his princely status, alongside his appointments to the Order of the Garter and Royal Victorian Order. December brought further humiliation when the Ministry of Defence confirmed the withdrawal of Mountbatten-Windsor’s honorary vice-admiral rank.
The 65-year-old has also been ousted from his cherished Royal Lodge, compelled to relocate to a “dilapidated” farmhouse on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. Yet the former prince’s ordeal may be far from finished.
Royal biographer Andrew Lownie suggests that whilst Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have thus far stood by their embattled father, “they might be worried there are further damaging revelations to come”.
Lownie also claimed to us out that only around 1% of material from the Jeffrey Epstein investigation has been disclosed publicly, with the Royal Family potentially “bracing themselves” for additional scandals.
Andrew has consistently rejected any allegations of misconduct. Nevertheless, reports have surfaced claiming his youngest daughter Princess Eugenie has “cut off all contact” with her father as claims regarding his connection to Jeffrey Epstein continue to surface.
A source told the Mirror that Princess Eugenie, after spending Christmas with the Royal Family instead of her parents in Windsor, has allegedly ceased all communication with her father. “There is no contact at all, nothing,” the insider claimed.
“It’s Brooklyn Beckham-level – she has completely cut him off.
By contrast, recent photos show Andrewspending time with Beatrice and his four year old granddaughter Sienna in Windsor.
Neither of the princesses have publicly commented on their father’s predicament. Crisis PR expert Lauren Beeching advised in the i newspaper that it would be best for Beatrice and Eugenie to continue to maintain their silence.
“Personally, I don’t think the smartest move is for them to publicly announce that they’re distancing themselves from their father,” she said. “The more effective approach is simply not to be seen with him and not make a spectacle of it.
Their mother, Sarah Ferguson, also finds herself in a challenging position. Having lived separately within her ex-husband’s residence for many years, she now, at 66, lacks a stable home.
She recently sold a luxurious London townhouse, which she had been renting out for a reported £4,000 per week. She purchased the Belgravia property for £4.2 million in 2022.
Her spokesperson informed the Mirror that Sarah “wasn’t looking to sell it,” but this year she “was asked by the tenant to buy it, and it seemed like a good time to sell.
It’s an investment property for her girls, and so the monies will be reinvested accordingly,” they added.
Despite this, reports suggest that Sarah is frequently moved to tears due to her current situation. However, as Andrew Lownie points out, the former duchess has recovered from more challenging circumstances in the past.
‘She’s a tough nut and she’ll be back,” he said.
Representatives for Eugenie, Beatrice and the Palace have been approached for comment.
