Prince Louis’s Christmas dream comes true as King Charles transforms…

King Charles has transformed the Sandringham Estate into a winter wonderland for his grandchildren, ahead of hosting the Royal Family for Christmas.

In previous years, the Prince of Wales and his three children explored the grounds of the royal estate, which featured a festive Christmas light trail that is open to the public until Christmas Eve.

In addition to this year’s attractions, visitors can bring their own marshmallows to toast on a firepit.

Sandringham’s Instagram account posted an invite to “step into a royal winter wonderland where trees shimmer, and pathways glow.

The caption read: “Sandringham Estate Luminate light trail is where nature becomes magical.
“Immerse yourself in the mesmerising mile-long trail, with stunning lighting elements and interactive light play, all set to music.

“Alongside the trail there is the Christmas tree maze and fun tree house as well as the vintage fair and festive food stalls.”

The invite also contains a “top tip” to “take your own marshmallows to toast at the fire pits on the trail,” reminding visitors to not “forget your skewers.

The trail, which takes guests approximately 90 minutes to walk, runs every evening.
The post featured 20 photos of the colourful trail, including a Ferris wheel, maze and Helta skelta.

Prince Louis, six, was particularly excited about toasting marshmallows when he accompanied Prince George, 11 and Princess Charlotte, nine, in his first Royal Engagement in 2023.

He revealed that he likes the sweet treat sandwiched between two biscuits.
Charles was spotted braving the weekend’s storm as he attended a Sunday service at St Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk, while Camilla continued to recover from her recent chest infection.

Her Majesty pulled out of attending the Royal Variety performance last Friday after doctors advised her to prioritise rest and recovery.

King Charles accepted flowers on behalf of his wife from eight-year-old Iris King-Taylor and ten-year-old Louie Cooper upon his arrival on Friday.
