Prince William ‘hurt greater’ than King Charles after Harry hit out at Kate and…

Prince William was “hurt greater than King Charles” after Prince Harry attacked senior members of the Royal Family in his autobiography Spare, a royal commentator has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex’s memoir criticised several key members of the firm including Prince William, Princess Kate and Queen Camilla.

King Charles and the heir to the throne were left furious that their wives had been slammed by Prince Harry.

Royal commentator Hugo Vickers has claimed that William was left more hurt than King Charles over the Duke of Sussex’s autobiography.
Vickers said: “I think, as time goes on, sometimes the bitterness becomes less strong, and the King has been brilliant because he hasn’t responded in any way at all to any of the jibes that have come from Prince Harry or Meghan.

“I think that Prince William is, I would imagine, rather less forgiving, and in a way the hurt is greater. Harry attacked Catherine, and that’s not very nice.

“I mean, nobody likes that. But possibly there will come a time when they appear together in public for various reasons.
“I think probably Prince William has got enough on his plate frankly worrying about his wife getting better, and his father.

It comes as a different royal commentator claimed Prince Harry’s attacks on Queen Camilla confirmed King Charles’s fears about the Sussexes.

King Charles’s youngest son compared Camilla to a “wicked stepmother” and took several other swipes at his father’s wife.

Prince Harry’s relationship with his brother Prince William also deteriorated following the book’s release with the royals no longer on speaking terms.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams claimed that Harry’s comments on senior royals made the family feel the Sussexes were untrustworthy.

Fitzwilliams said: Its [Spare’s] portrait of the Royal Family was far from flattering.
“It has made the rift with his brother deeper and possibly irreparable.

“The King was so angered by his personal attacks on Queen Camilla that he evicted the Sussexes from Frogmore, their base in Britain.

“It confirmed their belief that both he and Meghan were totally untrustworthy.
