Real Reason Charlotte declined Prince William’s order over apologizing to Queen Camilla laid bare

Princess Charlotte’s Big Sister Moments at Trooping the Colour Were a Very Different Vibe From Past Royal Outings. While most people tuned in to watch Trooping the Colour to see Kate Middleton after her shocking health news earlier this year, I couldn’t wait to see her adorable kids. In my humble opinion, Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, are always the highlight whenever the royals step out onto the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Of course, everyone was excited to see if Prince Louis would stick to his usual antics and look utterly bored or utterly pissed (or an understandable combination), but we were instead stunned by the interactions between him and his big sister.

In videos captured and shared by many outlets, Princess Charlotte seemed to be telling her little brother to stop as he danced to the music. Which is quite surprising given how amused she typically is by him and his wild card behavior. The two also seemed to have a heated stare down (see below), but in past royal outings, be it other Trooping the Colours, the family’s annual Christmas service, or their grandfather’s coronation, she seemed to get a kick out of him.

She was often spotted chuckling at him or showing the public that she wasn’t afraid to stand up for him. So what happened this year? It’s hard to say. Maybe the glares were just bad timing from the cameras. Or maybe she just wasn’t having his sh*t that day. Maybe they were in the midst of a sibling squabble when it came time to leave for the annual parade that honors the monarch’s birthday. Was there a royal tiff that caused this change of heart?

Maybe she was simply trying to teach him more about royal protocol. Or maybe she wanted to give her mom who is usually in charge of reining in Prince Louis, a break from the task that she usually gets heat for. Whatever the reason, we hope this vibe change doesn’t signal a larger change in their relationship. We hope it was merely One Of Those Days. Prince George had a big brother moment with Prince Louis while appearing at Trooping the Colour on Saturday.

As the royal family gathered to celebrate the King’s official birthday on the Buckingham Palace balcony, ten-year-old George was seen gently guiding his younger brother Louis, amidst the grandeur of the occasion.

The sweet interaction between the young Princes was caught on camera, showcasing their close sibling bond.
The clip that has since gone viral online showed Prince George telling his brother to face the public when Prince Louis turned around to share a moment with their father Prince William. The charming five-year-old royal often brings light and laughter during public appearances with the royal family. But it wasn’t just George looking out for Louis, their sister Princess Charlotte also kept a close eye on him.

Little Louis appeared to be more interested in dancing, yawning and pointing at the excitement below him, and Charlotte made sure to remind her sibling of the ‘proper’ way to behave. One moment from their sweet sibling exchange has gone viral on TikTok. In a clip from the BBC reshared by CNN anchor Max Foster (@maxfostercnn), Princess Charlotte can be seen telling Prince Louis to put his arms down as the fanfare begins for the national anthem. The joint family appearance at Charles’s official birthday celebrations marked the Princess of Wales’ first public appearance this year.

Kate, 42, looked relaxed during her first day in the spotlight following her cancer diagnosis. With the King also suffering from cancer, it was a rare joint public outing for the entire family after a period of uncertainty. Princess Kate and members of the royal family were cheered when they were first spotted in The Mall. Both Kate and Charles have thanked the public for their support after going public with their illnesses, with the mum-of-three saying she had been “blown away” by the “kind messages” that had made a “world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times.
