Breaking News: Bad News for Andrew as Princess Anne ‘revokes’ offer to help him from…
Princess Anne has a reputation as the backbone of the Royal Family, and her efforts reportedly included trying to help her brother, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, as he was being ousted from his home, Royal Lodge, in Windsor. Princess Anne reportedly offered to have him come and live with her at Gatcombe Park.
The Princess Royal supposedly called her brother on Christmas Day in 2025, as reported in the Daily Mail, when he was banished from the annual Sandringham celebrations, and proposed that he come and live with her at her stately home in Gloucestershire.
However, it is unknown if she was suggesting Andrew came into the main home or if there was a residence on site. The royal currently lives at Gatcombe with her husband of 33 years, Sir Timothy Laurence.
Princess Anne’s upset over Andrew’s involvement with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein is said to have grown over time, as reported by the Mail. Currently, Anne stands with her eldest brother, King Charles, who stripped Andrew of his titles and exiled him last year.
Andrew has since ended up living at King Charles’ Sandringham Estate instead, privately funded for by his brother, after relinquishing the lease on his 30-room mansion.
Currently, he is holed up at Wood Farm while Marsh Farm is being renovated. The farmhouse property has been completely renovated, complete with a new security gate, ahead of Andrew’s arrival, including the addition of luxury carpets.
comes as the police inquiry into Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could widen beyond the offence of misconduct in public office, it has been reported.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could be investigated over other potential offences, police sources have told the Times.
The former Duke of York was arrested on his 66th birthday and released on investigation that evening. The arrest related to his time as a Government trade envoy, when he allegedly passed confidential information to Jeffrey Epstein.
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
