Princess Beatrice is about to fall on her sword – Andrew and Fergie should be ashamed

When the history books reflect on the ‘fall of the House of York’, the first thoughts will naturally be for the victims of the vile monster Jeffrey Epstein. But next you cannot help feel Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson’s mindless friendship with the US financier has torpedoed the family lives and reputations of two others – Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie.

In fact humiliated Beatrice and her property-developing husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are so shaken by the Epstein Files’ revelations about her greedy and arrogant parents, they are reportedly considering drastic action to preserve their family. Beatrice, 37, and Edo, 42, are said to be mulling over quitting the UK with their children and jetting abroad for a new life in the US.

Poor Beatrice – who has loyally stood by her parents, being seen out in public supporting her dad when he was still living at Royal Lodge in Windsor – is reportedly “desperate to hold things together” in the face of adversity.

Beatrice is also said to have taken on board how well a move away from the UK worked for Eugenie after she established a home in Portugal with her husband, Jack Brooksbank back in 2022.

A source hinted: “Her sister Eugenie has lived abroad for many years now and that set the precedent. It would have been unthinkable a few years ago but now times are very different.

“Moving abroad, most likely to the United States, would be a fresh start for Beatrice and Edo and it would also mean they could give their marriage a kick start and get it back on track.

source added: “The feeling is that if they stay in the UK they will just be sitting ducks because, let’s face it, the Andrew and Sarah problem isn’t going to go away.”

Beatrice is said to be at a particularly low ebb as it was she who encouraged her father to take part in his car crash 2019 Newsnight interview – famously turning up with a notebook and pen at a meeting with producers.

Last month her father Andrew, 66, was arrested at his temporary Wood Farm cottage on the King’s Sandringham Estate on suspicion of misconduct in a public office for allegedly passing confidential UK information to Epstein when working as a trade envoy.

Andrew – who MPs in Westminster recently branded a “rude, arrogant and entitled man” – strenuously denies any wrongdoing.

Yet the Epstein Files have humbled and humiliated Andrew, Fergie and their daughters.

One disturbing image shows Andrew crouched over a mystery woman lying on her back, while emails have also emerged where Andrew tells Epstein his freedom in 2010 from his prison sentence for procuring a 14-year-old for prostitution was “really, really good news”.

Fergie seemingly lived in a moral vacuum when hailing the self-confessed child sex pervert as a “supreme friend” – or asking vile Epstein: “Marry me!

And let’s not forget it was Fergie who took Eugenie and Beatrice with her to the US in 2009 to celebrate Epstein’s release from prison for that child sex charge.

That trip – paid for by Epstein – has thrust the two daughters into the Epstein debate and has further added to their humiliation.

So if Beatrice does end up quitting the UK for the States, they only have their parents to blame. It is impossible to see how Andrew and Fergie can ever make it up to them – their relationship must be fractured beyond repair.
