10 Minutes Ago: Princess Eugenie feels betrayed and humiliated as she receives ‘Bad News’ From Sarah Ferguson

Sarah Ferguson may be aghast at the depth of her friendship with paedophile Jeffery Epstein being finally unmasked – but her daughter Eugenie will be feeling betrayed and humiliated. Epstein emails have revealed his and Fergie’s odd relationship, from being her cash machine, flatterer and would-be husband (she kept creepily pleading for him to “marry me”) to him treating her like a royal lackey.

He wanted her at his beck and call, to organise tea for his friends at Buckingham Palace, but often asked Fergie to include her daughters, one time requesting Beatrice and Eugenie meet his god-daughter in London. Epstein appears like a vile, capricious spider weaving Beatrice and Eugenie into his web, and Fergie was willingly allowing it to happen on her watch.

Fergie visited Epstein five days after he was released from prison for child sex crimes and took Beatrice and Eugenie with her, released emails suggest. The princesses would have been 19 and 20 at the time.

For Beatrice, now 37, and Eugenie, 35, these new revelations could put their future relationship with the Royal Family under scrutiny.

Last Christmas the sisters joined King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Catherine at Sandringham, wisely avoiding their parents at Royal Lodge in Windsor.

Both Eugenie and Beatrice are married with children, and have their own careers but also both princesses have philanthropic endeavours.

The two princesses continue to have the sympathies of the public, for being dragged into this unedifying circus.

But despite attempting to avoid the Epstein Files glare, Beatrice and Eugenie are repeatedly named with Sarah Ferguson – although nothing indicates any wrongdoing by the three women.

Yet one Fergie/Epstein email exchange in March 2010 left us all needing the sick bucket – to hear a mother talk that way about her own daughter is vulgar.

It began with Epstein asking Ferguson about visiting New York. She replies: “Not sure yet. Just waiting for Eugenie to come back from a sha****g weekend!!”

Princess Eugenie was 19 years old at the time and had just started dating her now-husband, Jack Brooksbank, with whom she currently shares two children.

It’s claimed Eugenie is “disappointed” in her mother for making the remark to Epstein – a beast who clearly would have relished such salacious gossip.

A close friend of Princess Eugenie told Page Six: “She’s very, very frustrated. It’s a never-ending s**t show.”

With these emails Fergie’s lost the respect of the British people, but she may have now shattered the unbreakable bond between a mother and her daughters too.
