SHOCKING: Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in further Misery as new home at risk of flooding

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor looks set for further misery as his new home, Marsh Farm, was flagged as part of a flooding risk ahead of Storm Chandra battering Britain.

Marsh Farm is on a flood plain and residents have been advised to sign up for flood alerts in case local measures fail to alleviate the risks.

Andrew is expected to move into the residence imminently as his exit from Royal Lodge looms.

A flood risk assessment from last year for Wolferton Barns, which is just metres from Marsh Farm, stated: “The Environment Agency operates a flood warning system to enable householders to protect life or act to manage the effect of flooding on property.

Failure of Wolferton Pumping Station may occur due to long-term mechanical breakdown or power supply being disrupted.

“If conditions put properties and land at risk of flooding, emergency action would be taken using temporary pumping equipment.

Today, Andrew’s flooding woes will have deepened as Storm Chandra forced the King to close an area of his Sandringham estate.

The monarch’s team announced the closure of the Children’s Play Area at Sandringham Estate through the estate’s official Instagram page, responding to extreme weather warnings affecting the region.

The popular playground, which typically draws families to the Norfolk estate, will remain closed while dangerous wind conditions persist.

The notice was also published on the Sandringham website, ensuring visitors are aware before travelling to the grounds.

The Instagram Stories message stated: “Notice: Due to high winds, we have made the decision to close the Children’s Play Area for the safety of our visitors. We advise you to take extra care when exploring the Estate grounds today.”

Despite the playground closure, the wider estate remains accessible to the public, though visitors have been urged to exercise caution while walking the grounds.

The play area is understood to be among the most frequented attractions at Sandringham, meaning the temporary shutdown is likely to disappoint many families.

The Met Office warned Storm Chandra is bringing powerful gusts and heavy rainfall across the country throughout Tuesday.

Forecasters have indicated that flooding and disruption to travel networks are expected in various locations.

The storm’s combination of hazardous conditions has prompted authorities across the UK to issue safety guidance, with the Sandringham closure representing one of multiple precautionary measures being taken by venues and attractions nationwide.
