Just In: Prince William, Kate Middleton release statement on Bondi Beach attack
A statement has just been issued by Prince William and Kate Middleton, in response to the attack on Bondi Beach.
For those unversed with the incident at all, it happened on Sunday December 14, 2025 and according to the BBC happened at a Hanukkah event while almost 1000 people were present.
Initial reports suggest almost nine people lost their lives and over 29 people were taken to the hospital.
Video footage also shows two attackers firing guns, one of which was killed during the shootout with police.

In response, the Prince and Princess of Wales joined King Charles in saying, “our thoughts are with every Australian today following the terrible attack at Bondi Beach.”
They also added, “We extend our deepest condolences to the families and friends of those who have lost their lives and stand with the Jewish community in grief. We are also thinking about the bravery of the emergency responders, particularly the two injured officers. W & C”
What is pertinent to mention is that Hanukkah is an even that is part of the Jewish faith and its roots date back to the Seleucid Empire in the 2nd century BCE.
