Just In: Kate Middleton addresses rumors about hair after wig controversy – It’s not what the…

Kate Middleton’s hair had sparked quite a buzz when she had resumed to royal duties following her summer break with fans speculating if the Princess of Wales had started wearing wigs.
Princess Kate, who is naturally a brunette, wore a much lighter and blonder hair colour in her appearance since. While many stood up to defend the royal, even if she was opting to wear extensions or wigs especially after her cancer journey, Kate did not directly address the issue until now.
Prince William and his wife attended the Royal Variety Show on Wednesday in London and Su Pollard broached the subject of her hair when they met.
Su revealed that she had a conversation with the future Queen, via Daily Mail, as she complimented her, “I like your hair, it looks a lot lighter.”
Kate had responded, “It used to be brown, but it’s gone light in the sunshine.”
When the rumours about Kate wearing wigs emerged in August, Princess Diana’s hairstylist Sam McKnight was one of the first people to reprimand social media users for “attacking a vulnerable young woman” especially who has been through cancer.
Moreover, other experts also debunked the mystery suggesting that it was possible that the princess was wearing extensions, but she was not wearing a wig. A prosthetic hair specialist called ‘wiggie’ had told Daily Beast that she was “not in a wig”.
She described it as a “u-bend” which is a “half wig that sits under the top layer of your own hair” to get some volume.
